After successful seasons in 2008 & 2009 we’ve decided to continue running a series in 2010 with two classes, one to encourage new Lotus owners into sprinting their standard NA cars and the other class giving the vast majority of other members the chance to compete. The series is being run in conjunction with Borough 19 Motor Club who we have had a relationship with for over seven years, B19 run the events we sort LoT members cars within our classes.

Series regulations have been kept as simple and relaxed as possible. We will police the regs but in a friendly/relaxed fashion, this is a socialable series for enthusiasts. If you’re someone who wants power checked at each round or is going to whinge about us having some flexibility then we’d suggest these classes will not be for you.

Entry forms for the 2 LoTRDC classes must be sent to – LoTRDC Ltd, PO Box 1217, Maidstone, ME14 9JR not to B19.

We will have 2 classes within the B19 regs:-

class LoTRDC 1 – road going cars with presumed power less than 160bhp
class LoTRDC 2 – other cars accepted by invitation upto 250bhp

Cars in class 1 will need to be driven to the event. Elise Trophy competitors will be placed in class 2.

Tyres will need to be List 1A or List 1B

111R & S2 Exige will be allowed to run in Class 1 if in standard trim.

Other cars will be admitted to Class 2 if we think they will benefit the series. They are subject to approval on an individual basis.

The series is suitable for both beginners and experienced drivers.

PLEASE remember these events are supposed to be fun and aimed at getting Lotus Enthusiasts involved in motorsport. If you don’t like the regs being as simple and open as they are don’t enter the LoTRDC classes enter a B19 class.

LoTRDC will provide trophies for 1st and 2nd in class if less than 6 cars in class but more than 2, 3rd place will be awarded if 6 or more in class.

If your car doesn’t fit into the 2 LoTRDC classes you can still enter the sprints in one of the B19 classes.

There will be a £20 joining fee for LoTRDC Sprinting membership which can be paid when paying your entry for the LoTRDC classes. Each competitor will be issued with a FREE timing strut that will fit an Elise or Exige. Members will also receive a £25 LoT voucher to be used on any LoT track day in 2010, discounted Yokohama tyres and further discounts to be announced.
