The outcome was close, but World Land Speed record holder Andy Green’s circuit racing debut in the Lotus on Track Elise Trophy was voted the Motorsport Vision Mega moment of 2009. With a little help from the Lotus community no doubt! The record breaking parade of Lotus at Snetterton on the same event also finished in the top five with joint third.

The British Touring Car Championship took second place with Colin Turkington’s title triumph at Brands Hatch voted the second best moment, whilst Paul O’Neill’s emotional Snetterton podium and Jason Plato’s power slide at Paddock Hill Bend clinched joint third position with the record breaking Lotus parade.
