Jake Humphrey, the frontman for BBC’s Formula 1 coverage, will race in the Elise Trophy at Silverstone on 10th October. Humphrey completed his ARDS test a couple of weeks ago, as shown during BBC’s coverage of the Valencia GP. He will be driving Paul Golding’s S1 Elise (previously driven by ex F1 racer Martin Donnelly and ‘fastest man on Earth’ Andy Green) and will have co-presenters David Coulthard and Eddie Jordan as his driving coach and team boss respectively!
An additional “Production” only race will be added to the schedule on 10th October and you will be able to see how Jake gets on later in the month as part of BBC’s F1 coverage.
