Last Friday, after the LoT Donington Park track day and before the first races of the 2009 season at Silverstone, over 190 drivers and supporters attended the 2008 season review and awards dinner. A sumptuous time was had by all, especially with no racing on the Saturday! Awards were presented by series television presenter Gemma Scott to the following:

* Driver of the season (overall & class A) – Paul Quinn
* Class B driver of the season – Ben Pitch
* Class C driver of the season – Chris Randall
* Rookie of the season – Marcus Jewell
* Best presented car – Phil Chatterton, immaculate at all times
* RAC award for best us of recovery services – Andrew Kell, various
* Cock up of the year – Tom Chatterway, Brands Hatch
* Most impressive crash (unassisted) – Steve Wentzell, Brands Hatch
* Tart of the year – Andrew Walsh, biggest support team
* Supporter(s) of the year – Paul & Del
* Steve McQueen great escape award – Marcus Jewell, Snetterton
* Interview of the year – Sean Bicknell, Silverstone
* Beach award – Gavin Kirby, Paddock Hill at A1GP
* Back to front award – Marcus Jewell, 27th to 3rd at Snetterton
* Battle of the season – Michael Edwards & Paul Quinn, Snetterton/Cadwell etc.
